A Guide To Wellingtons Diverse Wildlife Experience.
Tasked with designing a pamphlet showcasing things to do in Wellington, I chose to highlight the city’s often underestimated wildlife experiences.
The guide is structured around three key categories—Birdlife and reptiles at Kāpiti Island, marine life at Taputeranga Marine Reserve, and land animals at Wellington Zoo—each offering a unique perspective on the region’s rich biodiversity.
I aimed to create an immersive, and visually striking piece that not only informs but excites, drawing readers in and making them feel as if they are already stepping into these natural worlds. Using surrealism, I merged landscapes and wildlife to emphasize their deep interconnection, reinforcing the idea that as visitors, we are merely guests in these animals’ homes.
Designed for both kids and adults, the pamphlet sparks curiosity and a sense of adventure—something a child might eagerly pick up and share with their parents—while offering a complete and unforgettable wildlife experience.
